Dr. Leslie Hodge CHPV
Hospice and Palliative Care Certified
A veterinarian since 2006, Dr. Hodge has always dedicated herself to providing empathetic and caring service to the all clients and patients she has helped along the way. In 2018 she became a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Veterinarian (CHPV), through the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (IAAHPC), becoming one of the first veterinarians to lead this initiative in the Stratford Area. As an accredited palliative care veterinarian, her passion is helping people to plan and prepare for the eventual passing of their pets, and making their journey to the bridge as peaceful as possible.
Dr. Leesa Gillies CCRT
Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist
Dr. Gillies has been providing patient care at Romeo Pet Hospital since 2004 and over the years has become more and more passionate about relieving chronic pain in senior pets, by providing them with dental and surgical services, and as an accredited rehabilitation veterinarian providing laser therapy, acupuncture, traditional medicine, and pet parent education on how to best exercise their senior pets. And when every effort to control pain is not enough, she helps with the difficult decision to end their suffering.
